Crafted in Kathmandu (not for profit) has been launched to support artisans, craftsmen and women living in and caring for historical cities like Kathmandu. The unique lifestyle of the artisans who live and continue to preserve the art, craft and the living heritage of these unique settlements must be preserved if we are to protect these World Heritage Cities. It is the hands, skills and knowledge of these artisan families that has been handed from generation to generation which is what has kept these cities alive.

Crafted in Kathmandu is seriously working with the goal to provide artisans of the valley fully employed all year round. We work with the artisan to revive the culture and heritage. Because we believe that if their skills last for long time then only our unique culture remains for new generation.
