I am an indigenous folk artist from Ukraine. I make pysankas, which are Ukrainian painted empty chicken, goose and ostrich eggs. I also sell leather bags, belts, bracelets and hair pins. Members of my family and community embroider women’s blouses and men’s shirts. We also carve wooden pipes, boxes, decorative plates and whistles. We make beaded jewelry and floral crowns as well. We represent the culture of Hutsuls (ethnic group from Carpathian mountains in Ukraine.) All of us work in traditional techniques and make traditional products.
