The Sarah Holbrook Community Center has 2 sites in the North End of Burlington. The center has been part of Burlington since 1937. Over 1300 individuals are served annually by the programs and events offered at the center. Our New Arrivals Program, which serves 80 children who are learning English, was the first of its kind in Vermont. We have preschool, an after school program for elementary aged children, and two after school programs for middle school children. We also have a teen center. Our small emergency food pantry serves about 250 folks per year.
At the VIF we will have an activity table featuring tie dying and jewelry beading emphasizing pattern making from different cultures.
